Happy Magickal, Merry, Magnetic, Musical, Manifesting Monday!
The last Monday of February, can you believe it! And in usual Mumma Nature style the weather has gone bonkers! Arctic winds of 70 km/hr have been sweeping through over and over, plummeting temperatures and snow galore for some people.
In other words it is frigging cold and unusually cold (so please don’t tell me there is no such thing as global warming!)
So I am going to post a warning here. If you don’t want to read about tough things that are present in your community, no matter where you live – skip what is written.
With this sudden onset of cold I found it rather ironic, as across many communities nationally, February 25th is The Coldest Night of The Year Walk.
This walk started in 2011 to raise funds and awareness around homelessness (and I loathe the phrase “unhoused”) and poverty.
The funds all go to a local charity that is on the streets and helps to fund food, clothes, support and programmes for a very vulnerable part of our communities.
Having spent my Valentine’s Day wandering through various tent and tarp cities sharing little love packages of gorgeous cookies, and listening to some very intense stories, of course I had to walk!
When I signed up it was a balmy 5C – pffft. Not a problem.
Since then, the winds have been extreme, the cold is biting and when I’m out with Danu (the amazing therapy dog) it’s challenging, but I know that I have a warm home to go back to. I can turn on the kettle and make a nice cuppa and if my clothes are wet, I can change.
But, what if all you have is a tarp and a concrete sidewalk?
What if there is no way to get warm and dry, let alone open your fridge or cupboard to select something to eat?
For many of us, if we go outside and it’s too cold, we go back into the warmth. The walk which is only 5 km long goes through some tough areas, cold areas, areas where people are sleeping in doorways. This gives a wee glimpse, an iota taste of what it is like to be out in that level of cold, trying to sleep, be safe and stay warm. What it is to not feel safe.
That’s why I choose to walk, as the phrase that keeps popping into my head is “There by the Grace of God go I.”
What I found interesting was I sent out an invitation to all sorts of people to donate. Some I knew were exceptionally affluent and had never struggled in their life, others, money was tight. What was interesting was 2/3rds of the affluent ones didn’t donate at all, in fact I received a message about “Those people did it to themselves.” Wow.
The ones that did donate were tight on money, but they could see the people as people.
Life holds no 100% guarantees at all, other than you are born, you die. And having listened to a wee couple in their 80s on Valentines that had been on the street for just over a month due to the landlord tripling their rent………..
It made my heart sad.
So remember, we are part of a collective (whether you recognise it or not). Smile at someone, take a moment to talk, offer what you can – even if it is only time. But we are all interconnected and it’s important to be aware of that.
Okay, now I will get off my soapbox! Lol.
Interesting to see, as I write this, this was not what I thought I would be writing (I love it when that happens), but we do have Saturn moving. But more importantly, gorgeous Pluto is changing signs and is moving into Aquarius for the first time in 200+ years!
A little snippet on Pluto before we crack on with the reading.
“Pluto is our subconscious, the skeletons in the closet, the things that we have swept under the rug. Pluto is 3am in the morning when you are all alone and the world is quiet.
Pluto represents our deepest desires, our deepest fears, and our deepest subconscious programming. Pluto works in the backgrounds of our lives, moving us through constant cycles of death and rebirth until we are transformed into our fullest potential. How much we allow it to work its magic is up to us and our level of consciousness.”
So with that all being said let’s crack on with the reading shall we? Lol..
When I asked my guides how they wanted to share with you. I laughed.
They picked Sacred Destiny Oracle. So in case you have never met them, let me introduce you – and if you have met them before, let me reintroduce you (as not to do so is rude!). “You have a sacred destiny; we all do. There is a powerful and profound reason that you are here on the planet. However, sometimes it may be difficult to understand what that reason is and perceive what is required on your journey into the future.
It may be a challenge to know what the next step in life should be. This is the time to call upon the energy of nature and majesty of the natural world to provide answers to the heartfelt yearnings of your soul.
In ancient traditions, shamans, medicine women, witches, visionaries, and prophets all accessed hallowed knowledge by observing their natural environment. These wise beings stepped through mystic gateways into inner realms to bring back meaning to the seemingly random event of life. “
So my darling, if you don’t think we are all interconnected, well these are the guides to remind you.
Okay dear one, take a moment to just BE.
Let your breathing slow naturally and allow yourself to pull all the parts of you back. Any parts that are attached to work, the kids, the weather – whatever. Just breathe them back in and allow all the pieces of you to coalesce in your heart. See the abundance that surrounds you, let it fill you, let it warm your heart and see it expanding out of you.
If you need a bit of support playing with the abundance in your life, I have a wee guided visualisation for you.
Then when you are ready. From that state of Gratitude and Abundance. Pick the card or cards that whisper to you.
Did you remember to pick?
Let’s go look, shall we?
RELAXATION
On a warm, peaceful autumn night, a gentle haze softens the light of the full moon. The songs of night birds softly emerge through the dark, against the backdrop of the sonorous outpouring of the frogs that line the lake’s shore.
The stillness allows your senses to expand. You inhale the earthy dampness in the air, hear the nuances of the night sounds, look at the muted reflections of the moon in the lake, and sense the deep quietude of the night.
All is well. No need to strive or push to get ahead. Beneath the surface of life, everything is gently propelling you in the right direction. You can lay down your burdens and simply unwind.
Slow down and allow calmness to fill you.
When you relax and relinquish control, your intuition expands, and you create the space for your spirit guardians to help you.
Additionally, it’s vastly easier to heal and have positive outcomes in life when you are rested and not filled with worry and a need to control outcomes. Lie back, stretch out, and watch magic unfold in your life.
TRUST
The desert seems parched and devoid of life, yet it is to the desert that spiritual sojourners go to gain messages from the Creatrix. Traditionally, the desert is the place of spiritual cleansing, renewal, and profound healing visions.
Just as desert terrains can feed our souls, they also nourish lands thousands of miles away.
For example, the Sahara desert and the Amazon rain forest are a great distance from each other. One is a vast, dry area of sand and scrub, while the other is moist, lush, and green. And yet they are connected.
Annually, thousands of tons of nutrient-rich dust from the Sahara crosses continents in the upper atmosphere and deposits vital phosphorus and other minerals to the Amazon, which is needful of those exact nutrients.
This is a powerful and important message to receive.
Even when things seem parched or not fruitful, a deeper energy speaks of the power of your inner knowing. Meditate.
Trust those nudges from the Universe. Your celestial advisors are close by. Open up to receive some of the most important messages of your life through your intuition.
Your intuition is spot on, so trust it. And even if there are some areas of your life that seem lacklustre, know that other areas are being fertilised for a resplendent future.
Have faith, and know that there is a higher purpose.
BLESSINGS
In many ancient cultures, it was believed that there were some springs that were holy. Gods and goddesses were thought to reside in or near these special places, and they were revered.
Greek mythology is replete with stories of those special places. Many of the Christian hallowed water sources, such as the Chalice Well, were used for sacred purposes long before Christianity rose to prominence.
These kinds of springs were thought to be healing waters where blessings were bestowed by mystical beings.
Immense blessings are emerging into your life from those in Spirit. Angels, guides, and spirit guardians are watching over you. Angelic intervention is available to you.
Be open to the voice of the Divine. Messages are all around you. You are protected, you are safe. Have faith that your path is guided. Watch for signs that spiritual beings are present.
Profound healing energy will flow to you in wondrous ways if you welcome it in.
Refreshing, replenishing energy is filling your life.
Mmmmm, those are fabulous guides for this week. Dance with Pluto, feel the abundance that surrounds you, be kind to others and have a fabulous week. Oh yes, and stay warm! See you next week!

What a beautiful post. I don’t know about your area but before I would go out on a walk like that I would check with some of the groups that help homeless folks, especially the elderly couple, and get any information that you could pass on to those willing and in need.
Jenny Heston says
Hi Barbara,
Thank you. I agree about gathering the information so that one is able to help in more tangible way. I spend a lot of my free time helping in this area and so I do have a list of resources, but to be honest, some of those resources take forever to step up.

I chose card number 3 and the advice therein is exactly about what I have actively been doing for a while, drawing healing energy in and including the spiritual guides for assistance and thanking them for their help. There has not been a magical get up one morning and wow I am healed. What there has been is day by day both mental and physical healings are slowly but surely coming into being…daily I thank them for their assistance with this.

Barbara,
I am so glad! And I agree with you, it’s not a one and done relationship – it’s building up a rapport, a trust and a welcoming. I am so glad to hear that these healings are happening for you.

With so much gratitude to your Guides for choosing the Sacred Destiny Oracle and to YOU for this wonderful access every Monday to sort out the week! Spot on!

Most welcome!

Jenny, so many of the affluent are so busy worshiping the dollar that they’ve lost their Humanity.
And BTW, I chose all three and all were right on– as usual.
And as usual, thank you for the sharing of these wonderful readings.
Jenny Heston says
Sue,
I don’t know if it’s that they worship the dollar or that they are totally clueless to be honest. Lol. I’m glad you picked all 3!

Having been homeless myself due to an illegal eviction by a landlord ( who also stole off me the small amount of posessions I owned and beat up my dog!). I find it wonderful you can identify with homeless people. So many do not. In the UK also there are more and more who are homeless. It happened to me 30 years ago and I am currently safe – or as safe as any of us can really hope to be. But it has never left me and the things that happened during that time will always be a part of me. Thats not all bad by the way. One thing I will always remember is the kindness of the “tramps” on the street towards a then twenty something vulnerable young girl who had no where to go. It makes you stronger if you manage to survive it but its certainly not, for most people, a life choice to be homeless. In most cases its also not their fault. Thank you for what you do for the homeless in your society and also for the readings which I look forward to receiving into my inbox.

Bracken,
Thank you so much for sharing your experience. I too remember being 17 years old and sleeping under the sinks in a hotel bathroom in the UK. I too was blessed by the kindness of strangers and very thankful! Thank you for being your gorgeous self, and being willing to share and I’m so glad you feel safe now.
