Happy, happy, happy glorious Monday and post New Moon in Leo (though we are still in that energy). How has your week been? Have you celebrated the New Moon and set your seeds of intention? (Very powerful to do). If you haven’t and still want to, don’t fret – you always have time after the New Moon (the first 24 hours are the most potent) and as New Moon occurred yesterday (Sunday) you always have time and space. This is the New Moon in Leo so it’s all about letting go of pain and suffering – which I am a huge advocate of. You don’t need to wear a hair vest, nor do you need to hold onto the old wounds that are keeping you stuck. Joy is your birthright and only you can tap into that (but you have to put the steamer trunk of old baggage down, unpack it, purge it and then use the steamer trunk as a cool coffee table!)
It’s been an “interesting” week here as the other weekend after a gorgeous hike, I had a fall as I was coming down the mountain – meh, was my response and just kept pushing even though I knew something wasn’t quite right (that’s putting it mildly), I hiked, worked lots, dug up and transplanted things, pushed, pushed and pushed. So by Wednesday my body decided to really kick up and get me to pay attention and slow the heck down – put it this way – I would have rather given birth (and having done so 5 times I can speak with experience) than feel the level of pain that was occurring in my sacrum, which apparently I had twisted and as I hadn’t listened and rested it went into full overload flare, so much so I literally couldn’t walk, move, do anything for a few days. Thank goodness for my stupendous chiropractor and Chinese Medicine Doctor who helped.
Ahhhhh, time to practice what I preach was the message that came through loud and clear, as I am always telling clients, friends, kids – listen to your body, rest, nurture, relax – if you don’t give yourself these gifts your body will make you. Darn! (It was made even worse when my 17 year old son repeated it verbatim to me whilst handing me an icepack!) So that’s what I did, I slept, I used ice, I slept, I used heat, I gently stretched, I slept and sat and looked at all the things that I wanted to do and “should” be doing. The first day I was angry, grumpy and frustrated – but, but, this needs to get done and I have to go there (none of which could happen at that time) and then finally I released my desire to control the outcome and surrendered to asking for help and having to let some things slide for a while and being open to receive and the gifts that came were stupendous! A full reconnect with Divine, gorgeous time just watching the bees and the hummingbirds satiate themselves, following the flight of a huge bald eagle as it circled languidly overhead for about half an hour, playing with crystals and making some glorious pieces for clients and beautiful conversations with my kids (as I had to sit with an icepack they would come out and share their thoughts, feelings, confusion, delights and we would just talk). It also allowed my boys the space to create, nurture and show up in a different way and so cheesecakes were made, laundry was done, daily vacuuming and just a totally different level of care, tenderness and awareness – they were amazing and exceptionally lovely.
So it made me think about breathe, receive, allow and come home. Rest, sacred rest. So I have created a little visualisation on that topic as it is so incredibly important. Rest is not wasteful, selfish or weak – rest is vital, important and courageous. We don’t have to do it all on our own, but sometimes we need to get out of our own way and create space to allow the Universe/Divine, friends, family, random strangers to offer their gifts and be willing to receive them as a gift. Because they are.
So with that being said (I have seemed to have chuntered on a bit), let’s get on with the reading. This was done outside with the crows chortling to their babies, a squirrel doing a mad dash up the trellis and a dragonfly sauntering over the reading. We are working with The Divine Circus this week, which is interesting as I thought it might be one of the other decks, but no – this lovely deck literally jumped into my hands. The crystals who chose to come are Mookaite – a stone of here and now, Sodalite -a stone of idealism and truth, Pink Tourmaline – cleansing the emotional body of destructive feelings. Here is your visualisation and if you want to skip it, all good.
So take a moment, breathe and drop back into your body. Listen to the visualisation if you feel inclined, or just breathe and see yourself as a conduit as you breathe in pull the earth energy up through your feet. As you breathe out through your nose breathe in the glorious Universal energy. See them flowing up, flowing down as you breathe. You are a glorious conduit and can tap into these energies at any moment at any time. When you are ready, pick the card or cards that call to you this week. Trust.
Are you ready to go see the message or the energy that wants to work with you this week?
STEAMPUNK PRIESTESS
Appearances can deceive; yet when the time is right, incisive intuition slices through the illusion and the truth hits you between the eyes. That is the perception of reality behind the illusion. You know it when you experience it and you know that you have to trust in what you see! So give yourself permission to acknowledge and accept the power of those insights. Don’t talk yourself out of the truth. Intuition might only last for a second; and yet it can change the way you look at things forever, setting you on a more authentic course and allowing for changes to take place that you might have previously believed were impossible.
You might need to look closer to understand what is happening, or to trust in what you are already perceiving, even if a part of you doubts it because the truth of the matter in such cases would be so at odds with superficial appearances. Trust in your insight, no matter how startling, surprising or shocking that intuitive hit might be.
Get focused on what matters to you, then you won’t lose precious energy by either worrying about what could go wrong or trying to sort something out in your head. When the time is right, even the most confusing situation is going to come into focus, and your understanding of the matter, and what you need to do or not do, will be crystal clear. Set an intention for clarity and trust in what you see!
THE PROUD PIERETTE
If you were proud of who you are and everything you have learned in your life, free from shame, guilt or judgement, what would you choose for yourself today? The choices you make for yourself from a place of feeling good are going to be more loving and helpful than anything from a place of self-judgement. You’ve nothing to regret, you’ve learned a lot and you are a beautiful unique being on a wild divine journey. Be kind to yourself. Keep your head up! Then it will be easier to keep growing and glowing.
If you feel that life is getting you down, or you should have, or could have, made different decisions in life – you are doing a great job! You are meant to have learning experiences. What matters is that you choose to learn. And you do! In your own time and your own way, you make sense of things, and you grow wiser and stronger as a person.
If you feel any ridicule, judgement or shaming is coming from those around you – trust you are stronger and wilder and more beautiful and true than any of that mean-spirited fearfulness. Let the mud that is being slung slide right off or remain stuck in the hands of those throwing it your way. Keep your sense of inner dignity intact. Never make yourself smaller to placate the fear in another’s heart. Take pride in who you are. Be proud to be you! And know that this is a way to respect and honour the creative loving power of the universe that created you!
DATE WITH DESTINY
Out of the ether and into your life, she arrives now because you have a date with Destiny. She is a mysterious creature; her ways are wild and her guidance is true. She may create chaos from which a new order can emerge, but there is no need to fear. She has come to inspire, uplift and direct you.
A date with Destiny is a big deal. It is the moment when you realise there is something helping you out, something intelligent, powerful, wise and, no matter how empowered you are, something even more powerful than your own efforts. All bets are off! Nothing is held sacred and anything can happen. If you are a control freak, this will probably scare you witless! You need to trust Destiny’s interventions on your behalf, even if her work seems to be causing your best intentions to go astray. Trust or go mad because you cannot control her. And you do not need to! Your divine destiny is your best life. It is you in the fullest and most beautiful creative expression possible. It is what you want and need, even when you don’t immediately realise it, even when that is rather different to what you once thought you wanted and needed.
The Universe has heard the prayers in your heart, and life is going to answer them by rearranging what needs to be rearranged to sort out whatever has been troubling you. Make sure you let it happen. The more you allow yourself to trust in her, the more you will realise that the universe is working with you, rather than against you, and if you are willing, it will show you the time of your life!
So glorious one, I wish you a supreme week. Remember to practice sacred rest time, play time and just BEing time. The laundry, the inbox, the dusting can all wait. You have this moment, make it epic, fun and delicious. Oh yes, and don’t use a mixed bag of frozen veggies as an ice pack – they do eventually leak down your bottom!
I would also like to say thank you for the myriad of delightful emails last week, I most certainly appreciate them and thoroughly love and enjoy connecting with you all. Oh yes, remember – Breathe. Receive. Allow. And Come Home.

Dear Jenny
I hope you feel better soon. When you wrote rest is sacred. I was thinking maybe that’s why you hurt your Sacrum. It’s almost the same word. I am always intrigued by words and where they came from. I would think the Sacrum is very sacred to our spine without it the spine would not be held In place so perhaps that is where the word originated from.
Thank you for the reading.

That is a fabulous insight, I had forgotten to look at the words sacred and sacrum, but that makes total sense. Thank you.
