So one of my daily rituals is to light a candle on the mantelpiece every evening.

I send out a blessing for self, home, family, community and globally.

I’m picky about my candles and the vibe they have (yup lol).

So I thought this was the perfect candle to be lighting up this evening.

“Inhale the good shit, exhale the Bullshit. “

Smells like I’m zen as fuck and island people.

That’s my type of candle!

I talk to the trees, pick up leaves and allow Nature to nurture my soul and my heart.

The energy since this shit show in the US has been heavy. I do want to rant about “what were women thinking when they voted for this muppet!!”

Samhain - not only known as The Witches New Year (

Samhain - not only known as The Witches New Year (or the Celtic New Year), but a powerful time of ancestor connection, shadow work and Quitting Cleanly.

What do I mean by Quitting Cleanly?

Think of all the tasks, the projects, the commitments that you fill your life with and often procrastinate on.

Procrastination sucks your life force and when you Quit Cleanly it allows you to identify things that don’t light you up.

Perhaps they’re someone else’s expectations that we’ve internalised, and our heart understandably isn’t in it.

So grab a piece of paper on Samhain, light a candle, focus on the flames and then write down tasks and feel into the energy of them. Is there any nagging pressure or anxiety attached to it?

Then say - I trust that what is meant for me, Into my life does flow. That time and place align with ease, Conspiring to help me grow. With love and thanks, I release all claims to (the task you’re quitting).

Then burn it in the flame and offer it up to the Samhain energy.
